Don’t panic if your dog comes limping back to you with cactus spines sticking out all over!  Aletha shares this easy removal trick:

  1. Find two sticks or two rocks that you can hold easily.
  2. Use them like tweezers to pluck out spines.

This is easiest if you have someone to hold your dog still, but if you stay calm, your dog will, too.  Remember, it hurts to move!
