Dog travels the country, poses for majestic portraits

We all know our dogs are the best looking in the whole world, but few have the proof.  Illustrator John Stortz sure does!  He’s traveled the country with his rescue husky, Wolfgang and documented their journey along the way.  The photos in a Mashable article are breathtaking and shouldn’t be missed.

Wolfgang was clearly born with the looks to model, but Stortz says getting his handsome dog to pose is hit-or-miss.  He keeps a whole website dedicated to the gorgeous pooch.

“He will go off climbing up ledges and peering off cliffs all on his own,” Stortz told Mashable, “but if he’s riled up or hasn’t been out much that day he can be a stubborn brat.” String cheese helps him behave, though.

Stortz hopes to take Wolfgang for international adventures soon and travel to Newfoundland and the Canadian Rockies.
